中国科协青少年科技中心(中国科协科普活动中心) 简介
中国科协青少年科技中心(科普活动中心)是中国科协所属社会公益性机构,从事向青少年和社会公众传播科学,开展示范性、导向性科学普及活动,组织青少年科技竞赛的工作。中国科协作为中国科技工作者的群众组织,认真履行《中华人民共和国科学技术普及法》和《全民科学素质行动计划纲要》赋予的重要职责,把促进公众理解科学提升科学素质作为自己的重要使命。中国科协青少年科技中心(科普活动中心)是中国科协开展青少年科技教育、向公众进行科学技术传播的重要力量。
自上世纪七十年代以来,中国科协青少年科技中心在青少年中开展了多种多样的科技教育活动,这些活动旨在培养年轻一代对科学的热爱,使他们树立科学的思想和精神,提高未来社会公民的科学素质。2006年国务院颁布了《全民科学素质行动计划纲要》,对科学普及工作提出了更高的要求。中国科协青少年科技中心同时成为中国科协科普活动中心,担负组织面向广大社会公众的科学普及活动的任务。中国科协青少年科技中心(科普活动中心)进一步扩大了自己活动的领域。这些活动在全国范围产生了很大影响。
Children & Youth
Science Center of CAST is a non-profit organization. The center is engaged in
the spread of science knowledge for adolescents and the public, organization of
pilot science activities as well as science contests. As a non-governmental
organization of scientists and engineers, CAST performs its obligations
according to Law of the People’s Republic of China on Popularization of Science
and Technology and Outline of National Scheme of Scientific Literacy for All
Chinese and considers the promotion of public understanding of science and the
enhancement of science literacy as its missions. And Children & Youth
Science Center is a driving force of CAST for the adolescent science education
and the popularization of science and technology. Since the 1970s, Children
& Youth Science Center has developed various science education activities
for adolescents in order to cultivate their interest in science, build up
scientific mind and spirit as well as promote their science literacy as the
future citizens. In 2006 the State Council (the Cabinet) of China promulgated
Outline of National Scheme of Scientific Literacy for All Chinese, having
higher requirement for science dissemination. Meanwhile Children & Youth
Science Center of CAST added another name-Science Communication Event Center.
Having the two names, the center enlarged its functions from organizing science
educational activities for adolescents only to conducting some important large
scale science communication activities for both adolescents and adults. All
these activities generate great influences around the country.

全国青少年科技创新大赛是中国科协、教育部等八个国家部委共同主办,具有近30年历史的展示青少年科学教育成果,奖励优秀青少年科学研究项目的活动。是目前中国面向全体在校中小学生范围最广的具有示范性的全国青少年科技教育活动之一。
China Adolescents Science and
Technology Innovation Contest is a national contest focusing on the adolescent
science education and science research, which has nearly 30-year history and is
jointly organized by China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry
of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Environment
Protection Administration, the National Sports Administration, the National
Natural Science Foundation, the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist
Youth League, All-China Women’s Federation and provincial and municipal sponsor governments. Now CASTIC
is one of the most representational science education activities for all the
students of senior elementary schools and secondary schools across the country.

“明天小小科学家”奖励活动是由教育部、中国科协和香港周
凯旋基金会共同发起的一项鼓励青少年科技爱好者参加的科技活动,其重心在于发现和培养未来科技后备人才。活动以青少年从事的科研项目为媒介,考查学生的逻辑思维能力、动手能力和知识面,选拔对科学有兴趣、立志终生从事科学研究事业的、具有科学潜质的青少年,资助他们进一步深造。
Awarding Program for Future
Scientists is a science and technology activity for science-loving adolescents
jointly organized by China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry
of Education and H.S Chau Foundation Limited. Its concentration is on the
finding and fostering the young scientific talented for the future. With their
science projects as media, this program evaluates students’ capability of logic
thinking, hands-on operation and erudition so as to select potential talented
students who are interested in science and would like to devote the life to the
scientific research. The awarded students are sponsored to continue their study
in university.

国际奥林匹克学科竞赛是世界上最有影响的中学生学科竞赛活动之一,其宗旨是促进学科知识的普及,培养中学生对学科
知识的兴趣。中国在1985年首次派队参加这一国际赛事。目前每年由中国科协组队参加国际数学、生物、化学、物理、信息学奥林匹克竞赛,成绩优异。这项活动对于促进我国相关学科教育的发展,加强与各国优秀青少年间的交流与友谊,发现和培养科技后备人才等方面都起到了积极的作用。同时,这项活动得到了国家的重视和支持,并在社会上具有良好的声誉。
International Science Olympiads are one of the most
influential international science competitions for middle school students. The
purpose of the activities is to promote the popularization of science knowledge
and cultivate young students’ science interest. In 1985 China first took part
in this international contest. Currently, Chinese delegations take part in IMO,
IBO, IChO, IPhO and IOI every year and often achieve excellent results. This
activity plays a positive role in the development of China’s relevant science
education, strengthening the exchanges and friendship between Chinese youth and
adolescents and their peers of other countries as well as in the cultivation of
the potential talented students for the future. This activity is supported by
the government and enjoys good reputation in the society.

National Science Communication
Day

为全面贯彻《科普法》,中国科协从 2003
年开始组织全国科普日活动,从2005年起,活动于每年9月的第3个周末在全国各地开展。在每年的全国科普日前后,全国各地都围绕年度科普活动的主题,例如节能、节水、卫生、安全等,向青少年和公众普及科学知识、倡导科学方法、传播科学思想、促进广大人民群众科学素质的提高。
To carry out the Law of the
People’s Republic of China on Popularization of Science and Technology , since
2004 CAST has organized “Science Communication Day” around the country in the
third weekend of September every year. A series of scientific communication
activities are organized around a theme different from year to year during the
“Science Communication Days”.

中国青少年机器人竞赛活动是中国科协主办的面向21世纪青少年的系列科技创新活动之一。该活动始办于2001年,竞赛旨在以丰富多彩、形式多样的机器人探究项目,培养青少年的创新精神和动手实践能力,激发他们对科学技术以及机器人研究应用的兴趣,提高他们的科学素质。同时,该活动还选拔国内优秀的青少年参与国际青少年机器人竞赛和交流活动。
China Adolescent Robotics Competition is one of the series
of scientific innovation activities launched by CAST for the adolescents in the
21st century. Beginning from 2001, this contest aims at cultivation of
innovation spirit and hands-on abilities of adolescents by various and abundant
robotics exploration programs so as to stir up their interest in the science
technology and automaton application research as well as enhance their science
literacy. Besides, participating in this contest some excellent students are
selected to take part in the international adolescent robotics contests and
communication activities.

“大手拉小手”是科协系统组织的青少年科技活动的形象比喻和特色所在,并更多地体现在普及性、非竞赛性的科普活动中。这些活动以普及科学知识,传播科学思想和科学方法,提高青少年科学素质为目的,紧紧依靠广大科技专家,在全国不同地区、不同层面的青少年中,广泛开展科普报告和青少年科学体验、科学实践等活动。这些“大手拉小手”活动,不仅为青少年学生创造了
接触科技实践的机会,而且在青少年和科学家之间搭起了“以科会友”的桥梁。
Hand in Hand between Scientists and Adolescents—Science
Dissemination Action among Adolescents is organized by CAST. Scientists of
academic and professional societies and associations for natural science are
mobilized to popularize scientific knowledge among adolescents through
different channels and in various forms. This program not only creates
opportunities for adolescents to engage in scientific activities, but also sets
up a bridge between scientists and adolescents to become friends.

UNICEF

中国科协与联合国儿童基金会合作在农村贫困地区开展非正规教育项目,为校外青少年提供学习的机会。目前项目在20个县开展,旨在提高当地校外青少年的生活技能、科学素质和谋生技能,降低其在社会工作、生活中受到伤害的风险,使其获得提高生活质量和个人发展的基本能力。项目的实施将对欠发达地区农村校外青少年非正规教育起到示范作用,为农村校外青少年教育与发展提出政策建议。2006年,该项目在140个乡村建立了校外青少年知识信息资源中
心,通过配备的电视机、计算机、图书、体育器材等设备以及艾滋病、禽流感预防知识和技能培训、体育运动、生活技能拓展等活动为校外青少年提供服务。
CAST develops non-formal
education project cooperated with UNICEF in poor rural areas of China to
provide education opportunity for the out-of-school children. At present, this
project is implemented in 20 counties of China to improve the life skill,
livelihood skill and science literacy of the local out-ofschool children, help
them avoid risks in daily life, and enhance their own living quality and
individual developmental capability. The implementation of this project sets an
example of non-formal education for the out-of-school children in the poor
rural areas. It also institutes a policy advice to the education and
development of the out-of-school adolescents in the rustic areas. 2006
witnessed the establishment of knowledge and information centers for outof-
school adolescents in 140 villages equipped with television, computers, books,
gym equipments. In the centers training on HIV / AIDS and bird flu as well as
life skill to the out-of-school adolescents are conducted.

从2000年开始,中国科协设计并每年向地方科协配发可以装载
科普展品、科普资料、放映科普影片等的多功能流动科普宣 传设施——科普大篷车。科普大篷车将可参与的互动式的科技馆展品
送到城镇、农村和少数民族地区巡回展出,同时开展一些其它的传统 科普活动,使很少有机会到大城市科技馆参观的边远地区群众特别是
青少年能够亲身感受科学技术知识带来的快乐。科普大篷车也被形象 地称为“流动的科技馆”。
CAST started the program of Science Wagon in 2000 to bring
science information and science educational activities to schools and
communities of both urban and rural areas for making up deficiency of science
museums in China. The science wagons are equipped with science communication
materials such as exhibit items, posters and display boards. Once unloaded and
fixed, these materials can function as a small-sized science and technology
museum. They enable the visitors, especially the youth who have difficulties to
pay visits to big science and technology museums, to enjoy the wonders of
science and technology. Given their functions and target groups, these science
wagons for science popularization have won a very popular name as “Traveling
Science Museums”.

2001年,教育部和中国科协共同倡导和推动“做中学”科学教
育项目在中国开展。该项目探索在幼儿园和小学中进行基于动手做的探究式学习和教育。项目实施以来,在实验项目内容标准、案例、评价、教师培训等方面已取得了阶段性成果。“做中学”目前有近20个试点地区。中国科协在北京、上海、南京等地区重点促进科技工作者对这个教育项目的深入参与。
In 2001 the Ministry of
Education and CAST jointly initiated “Learning by Doing Science Education
Program”. This program focuses on the children in kindergartens and elementary
schools to have inquiry based science education through hands-on activities. So
far, the program has reached its tentative targets respectively in the
development of standard of education contents, curricula, evaluation as well as
teachers training. At present, nearly 20 regions are involved in this program.
CAST strives to get in-depth participation of science workers in Beijing,
Shanghai, Nanjing and so on in the program.

求知计划是中国科协与英特尔中国有限公司的合作项目,旨在
向8-16岁的青少年提供为期60个小时的互动计算机课外免费
培训课程。项目致力于为学生设计出一系列信息技术教育活动,在教师的指导下自主学习,并为不容易接触到电脑的弱势群体提供课外学习电脑、动手实践的机会。自2003年以来的四年间,项目在全国31个省市的254个课外活动中心开展,已累计培训800多名教师,180000多名青少年。
Intel Learn Program is cooperated with Intel China Ltd. The
purpose of this program is to provide 60-hour free interactive computer courses
in after-class time to the adolescents in the age of 8-16. This program is
engaged in the design of IT education activities so as to help students with
their self-study under the direction of teachers. In addition, it also offers
computer study and practice opportunities to the students who seldom touch
computer. Since 2003 the program has been conducted in 254 after-school
activity centers of 31 provinces and cities and has trained more than 800
teachers as well as 180000 adolescents altogether.

为贯彻落实《关于进一步加强和改进未成年人校外活动场所建设和管理工作的意见》和《全民科学素质行动计划纲要》的要求,充分发挥科技馆等青少年校外活动场所的教育功能,中央文明办、中国科协、教育部共同发起“科技馆活动进校园”工作,旨在将科
技场馆的科普活动送到学校,使科技馆资源与学校教育特别是科学课程、综合实践活动、研究性学习的实施结合起来,特别是服务于农村或条件相对较差地区的青少年。目前中国科协已在全国30个科普场馆开展试点工作。
In order to develop the function
of science museums, China Association for Science and Technology, together with
some of other central governmental ministries initiated the program “Bridging
Science Museum with School”. The aim of this program is to connect the resource
of science museums with the school curricula, such as the science courses,
after-class activities and research study, and especially to provide the
adolescents of the rural or poor areas with opportunities to get in touch with
science. So far the program is implemented in 30 science museums and centers
around the country.

20多年来,中国科协青少年科技中心(科普活动中心)在组织开展青少年科技教育和公众科普活动的过程中建立发展了与其他国家和地区的交流,使中国爱好科技的青少年得到了与其他国家和地区的同龄人切磋学习经验、取长补短、开阔眼界的机会,使中国的青少年科技教育工作者和科普工作者得到了与海外同行交流的机会,打开了与境外友好组织开展合作的大门。
Children & Youth Science Center (Science Communication
Event Center) of CAST has communicated with other countries in the organization
of adolescent science education and public science popularization activities
for 20 years, which not only boosts the exchange of study experience between
Chinese students and the students of other countries but also provides them a
mutual learning and eye-opening chance. As well these international activities
also improve the communication between Chinese science educators and the
overseas counterparts and open the door of cooperation.

为了能使港澳台地区在校的大学生深入了解内地的经济和社会发展,促进两岸四地青年的互相了解,获取实际工作经验的机会,中国科协自2002年始,开展了港澳台大学生暑期实习活动,针对香港、澳门、台湾大学生,分别命名为《紫荆计划》、《绿荷计划》、《玉山计划》。五年来,香港大学、香港城市大学、香港理工大学、澳门大学、台湾大学等1200多名学生参加了本项活动。
To satisfy the need of internship of the college students
from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and to help them get acquainted with the
mainland, since 2002 CAST has organized internship activities for these
students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in their summer vacations. The
internship activities are named “Redbud Program” “Green Lotus Program” and
“Yushan Program” respectively to refer to receiving the students from Hong
Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In the past five years, more than 1200 students from
Hong Kong University, The Hong Kong City University, Hong Kong Polytechnic
University, Macao University and Taiwan University have taken part in this
program.
